I looooove Deep House. It hasn't quite blown the fuck up yet, only in the last sixth months or so have my DJ friends started spinning it regularly(been yelling at them for about two years now to play it). Everybody was on the big, noisy, sounds of hardstyle & dubstep and shit for a minute, but now everyone wants to kick back at the beach, light up a joint, have some drinks, and chill out to some Deep House. There's of course the usual music snobbery about what actually constitutes "Deep House" but one thing is for sure, it has to be soulful and sexy.
