I'm whole foods, grain-free vegetarian. Or something. Haven't been keeping track but I'm hopefully somewhere around 25% protein and equalish amounts fat and carbs. Not ideal for losing weight but I am anyway (verrry slowly now), and I'm not fat. Weigh around 120lbs.
Foods I don't eat:
Grains (exception: rice)
Anything processed
MSG
Added sugars
Artificial sweeteners (exception: xylitol).
Diet breakdown by macro:
Protein:
Organic, free range eggs
Grassfed, organic (etc.) dairy, generally fermented. Usually kefir, greek yogurt, some cheese
Organic beans/legumes
Fermented soy products (tempeh, miso, etc.)
Some nuts and seeds
Whatever small amounts of protein from veggies and whatever
Lipids:
Whatever from protein categories
Grassfed, organic butter
Coconut oil
Olive oil
Avocado, coconut etc.
Carbs:
Whatever from previous categories
LOTS of veggies. Wide variety leafy greens, peppers, onions, whatever
Some fruit, various
Mushrooms I guess lol
Potatoes (sweet, yellow, russet, red, whatever)
^all organic, always. Except when eating at other people's houses, or going out to eat (very rare) I guess. Oh and spices, herbs, healthy condiments.
To drink:
Tea (usually unsweetened, sometimes with a bit of organic, locally-sourced honey)
Water
Coffee (with maybe a splash of coconut milk or similar)
Smoothies and stuff, if you want to count those... always made from ingredients listed above
