I agree. It should be an "in the moment" thing. You see a post, read it, see who else agreed with it and move on. Having a thanks count rack up is pretty silly to me. Maybe in some hidden thing like "user statistics" but definitely not right there like it was on zoklet.

We have those already as posting ranks. You can view them all in the Site FAQ. Stars increase based on post count or you being an extra special member here.
