post your dream engine builds. LSx, RB, mod motor, coyote, cummins...it doesn't matter, just post your dream motor build ups.

I was on ebay tonight, and I pieced together this monster. I didn't make it with power in mind, but being extremely small and streetable for the power it makes...418 cubic inches/6.9 liters

LS3 block-$1k (LM7 block for $100 if you are on a budget)
Forged pistons-$300
LS6 heads-$300
springs/pushrods/retainers-$338

---might use sodium-filled titanium valves used in the stock LSA---

I've left out some null things like oil pump, bearings, and other "normal" things. this motor, with the LS6 cam (even with the LS6 heads and blower) would idle at around 1000 RPM, and run on premium pump gas. depending on the drive pulley on the blower, tune, exhaust and other things, would be good for at least 1200 horsepower, in an extremely small package, with a fairly wide powerband.

all it needs now is an RX7 or a Datsun or an S10 or some hilarious sleeper to put it in.

That's a fairly sound meth build from the looks of it. I don't know that engine with that bore x stroke and a huge cam let would suit such circuit worthy chassis but on other hands maybe it is worth having these chassis in order to handle the power. You'd be benefitting from a serious cage or even tubular body to restrain that twist.
