Getting laid actually gets much easier for a man as he gets older, especially with the younger girls, so long as you don't still live with your parents by the time you're in your 30s or completely socially awkward.

I'll try and explain as well as I can. Males take a lot longer to mature than females do in general.
Teenage boys don't have much look or certainly don't have much choice in the dating market as a 20 year old does and that's because they look scrawny and adolescent. Males start to look a bit better in their twenties having filled out a bit (provided they're getting enough exercise or eating enough) and we generally have a more mature look to ourselves. Facial hair starts to grow in a more complete and rugged fashion during this age period too. Along the way we also mature mentally and pick up the general wisdom in life whereas many are insecure over every little thing in the earlier years; this goes away as years and experience come by, our egos don't get in our way as much. We're also more established by this time with set goals in mind, some property to our names such as homes, cars and some of us children (having children has never interfered in my abilities to pull women).
Women usually always have a preference for an older guy. Of course in many cases economic circumstances play a role too, but it shouldn't play too much of a role, especially if you want a decent woman you can actually take out and be proud to show off.
It's a combination of looks, wit and wisdom - keep in mind though that looks actually matter to women far less than they do to us men. Women are concerned with physical prowess, sociability, status, maturity, affluence, influence, and dominance in a man.
The main thing really that gets in a man's way is ego and fear of rejection or losing instead of taking a chance. I've said it before and I'll say it again, instead of wasting time with 6/10s who have their head sup their ass go for the 9s and 10s who everybody else is looking at but doesn't have the balls to talk to; if you get rejected atleast you tried, you may surprise yourself by being more successful than you thought you may, if you feel you're getting nowhere just move on and try again with another one.

PS non-white women love the conquering white man with wit and balls; they don't love a white man who doesn't live up to the myth and the legend which is what we see today in the case of many white people who are trash, sissies or ignorant dipshits.
