What ever happened to Dubstep?

I remember coming across Dubstep back in 2009-10 while I was in high school and at first I enjoyed it. It was something I had never heard before. I was always looking for a new type of music to listen to aside from rap/hiphop. After less than a year I realized how shitty Dubstep actually was. Every song sounds like the next one. I will admit that the theme of some songs or the non-Dubstep parts of the song are at times creative but that annoying drop , and squealing sound that's in every song really made me hate it. Once I started hating it I saw an increase in the popularity of Dubstep, especially among white kids. Thankfully at my school white kids were the minority and even they didn't listen to it and were more into hip hop. But I would hear it blasting in a car full of teens while they all bobbed their heads as if they were giving head. I would just look at them and think 'how gay'.

I guess Dubstep gained a lot of popularity thru Youtube, which is also where I first heard of it. Once I left the area where I grew up and went to college I met friends of friends who would come party with us on the weekends and all they would talk about is Dubstep. I still could not believe that people were still listening to such shit music.

Dupstep was fucking horrible, my x used to listen to it and I heard entirely too much of that and Sage Francis, dupstep was basically a a fat autistic trying to reenact a battle he had with a garden hose set to drum and bass and he's salivating all over the place and you just wanna leave/turn it off.

There's one or two tolerable songs and I forget their names so there might as well be none. Fuck Skrillix too, goddamn do I ever want to beat the fucking shit out of that skinny green haired fruit who ruined any potential is might have as a form of music. Fucking faggot
