Irish Cross Found on Mars

That looks more like an Egyption Coptic cross which makes this discovery way more fascinating in the sense that we've always thought of the Egyptions being in contact with extraterrestrials.

The Coptic cross or the Ankh symbol that it's probably based on?

In any case a similar thought had crossed my mind; what the fuck are the Irish doing on Mars? 'Ah Jaysus, Mam, 'oim only going cross t'road for sum milk'.

everything that's ever been on mars may leave some human-like indentation on it because the technology is made by humans. then we see these symbols a few years later and forget the connection.

It's big. Much bigger than a screw head. Anyways, the screw head couldn't have left the circle imprinted in the middle of the cross, so it wasn't the screw that made it.

 Haha, I love that reference.. but then again, maybe it wasnt just aliens.. I hear now that it could be ghosts along with aliens.

 Anyways, definitely some strange stuff on mars. It's hard not to see things that your familiar with.. on par with seeing animals in the clouds. I still believe that there is about a 60%-70% chance that there was some form of life on mars, intelligent or otherwise.. Considering we and whats on Earth is the only life we currently know of, it makes sense that if there is other life out there.. the apple shouldn't fall far from the tree. There's a better chance of finding it close to home versus some far off place we can't see or reach.. a lot of space out there.

Unfortunately, the photo is actually a bit of an illusion. The photo was taken with Rovers microscopic imaging camera. Not only is it much smaller than a screw, it's literally microscopic. The rocks and such you can see aren't even rocks, they're literally pebbles and sand and other tiny shit. IDK why this isn't made readily apparent, it should have been mentioned in the OP.

Anyway, it's most likely an indentation left from the rover itself. Not for sure, but most likely.

The surface of Mars has no moisture and is dry as a bone, therefore no imprints can be made at all. Also, no one has proof of the scale of the pic.
