A legal case
« on: October 08, 2014, 05:54:22 pm »
Hi.  This is a true, real-life case that I read about somewhere.  Basically, a woman wanted to get pregnant, but didn't have a partner (I forgot most details so I could be wrong).  She found a man who was willing to help her by donating his sperm to her.  They entered into a contract saying that this guy would not have to shoulder the responsibilities of rearing the resultant kid.

So the woman, with this man's help, was able to have a child.  Couple years later, she was having some sort of financial difficulty, and went to the local government for financial help intended to help out this child.  They (the local government) found out who the child's father was, and they forced him to pay child support.

What do you think of this case?  It bothers me because the mother signed a contract with this man, absolving him of any responsibilities.  But the government is right in a way, because a child's needs are at stake.  So, what do you guys think of this case?

First thing that comes to mind is "stupid people shouldn't breed". Then the more I think about it, it kinda makes me rage because its just another example of selfish spoiled people taking the most important responsibility one can decide to take on....and have such absurd nonchalance about it. All in the quest of...."but I WANT IT!". Who gives a fuck what you want, society is proving more and more every day that it takes a STABLE household of 2 loving parents (one male, the other females for all of you gay rights whackjobs) to produce a well grounded kid that will eventually be a productive adult.

Statistically speaking kids from single parent homes, or products of divorce, or any of the other nonsense that goes on like this woman are liable to end up having problems.

You want a kid? Go find someone of the opposite sex you can actually BUILD A STABLE LIFE with and don't leave them 5 years later over petty bullshit. You owe it to that child to give them the "best"life possible, and that kid's needs, dreams, desires trump whatever other rhetoric you are chasing in life. Or go play the Sims, where you can just log in and out as it is convenient for you.

Was this a legally binding contract? If not, the government won't give a fuck.

I am pretty sure it was.  But the government intervened and ruled that this man should pay for child support.

Yes. It was a contract with a lesbian couple. The fact is the procedure took place outside of the regular channels for insemination and the state of Kansas said being a "good Samaritan" in this case did not remove his "Parental" requirements and some other BS, but the moral is tell the bitch you want to go through a Dr..

This mostly struck me as a case of "fuck you for being gay, and fuck you for being friends with gays. Kansas isn't going to pay for your queer kid."
I'll try anything once, and twice to be sure.

I think the lesbos were forced to give him up as they were filing for state support for the kid since they lost a job or some shit. So the state was like "Baby daddy name or no $$$$"

...and if they dont know the name of the father (as in case of rape, one night stand). Obviously they were just idiots.
