Mandelic acid, Formic Acid and Phenylethylamine

Just wondering if anyone here has played around with these or happen to have info on different synthesis using any of these. I know that there are a number of ways to get to going fast but I just wanted to hear about what others have done successfully.

Something I wanted to place here and see if anyone has any kind of knowledge of there own with to share as far as a eschweiler-clark reaction.those who are asking themselves what the fuck is that. This is a methylation process where a chemical reaction methylates a primary or secondary amine by means of using formic acid and formaldehyde..when these two chems are mixed they create carbon dioxide which is how the reaction makes this process happen.

A little update about some READING I have done has to deal with how some go about methylating phenylethylamine. This is ones starting point to the trip down the yellow brick road Toto calls it the mother fucking OG wizard.if you where to take this straight up you probably would be thinking what the fuck because your body breaks it down so fast that we will call it the minute man. So what can be done to make this last a little longer..fucking Dorothy says you know what I bet if we' took this here (Phenylethylamine) and we performed  what is called methylation  on it we might end up with something that will last a few more minutes not quite what where looking for but better then a min. Anyone have alittle info on making Phenylacetone from mandelic acid. This is from something I came across so I am recalling from memory. I'm absolutely sure about the chems used but not the amounts so I wanted to see if anyone had more info on this. Using 12.5 g of mandelic acid and 6.5g of red phosphorous with phosphoric acid and then the resulting extracted with ether that one ends up with Phenylacetone

So if Someone was to take some benzaldehyde which they had gotten from distilling some almond flavoring that has bitter almond oil or says it has benzaldehyde because almond extract the real shit is more then people care to pay for and some nitroethane and took these two and refluxed them together to create aldehyde alcohol phenyl-2-propanone, which supposedly after letting sit over night would yield beautiful long yellow crystals. I hear that these crystals can be like tear gas so one should likely keep them inside of a sealed container. Now if one was to then take this yellow product and say used a dean stark apparatus which constantly removes water allowing the reaction to drive itself and then used some lithium I wonder what this someone would have
