"Night-Shift"
« on: May 28, 2014, 11:53:21 pm »
Once I existed in a state that many deem unfathomable. Celestial energy spanned over light years as I awaited my completion. As I drift amidst my vast galactic home, the pull of a local planet's gravity drew me in. The pull was unlike any other planet...it had life to it. My consciousness was beginning to reassemble, I become aware that my particles have shifted from gas to plasma. Galactic plasma arcs from my form, in my altered state I send an observation field to the blue and green planet in order to observe whether I require it's elements for completion. Astounding. A large number of unknown elements exist in great abundance. With my speed, I reap them at once. While on this planet I notice strange metropoli that seem counter productive in energy use and thermically unsound. No matter, all elements have been collected. Attempting to leave this world offers difficulty. My plasma form is becoming volatile...I must stabilize. I craft long strips of black crystal from the collected elements. This crystal complements my energy field and allows total manipulation as well as stabilization. But what form to use? My consciousness observes a skeleton near the sand dunes I craft the crystal from. My entropic plasma flows over the hollow frame of this once vivid creature. The black crystal strips swirl around me, sealing my energy into a dense form. I leave a spout at the top for energy release. It appears my completion has brought my form to rest on this odd planet. True I have seen many civilizations, countless times over...this one however seems to be different. I will await my time of usefulness through observation. Observation. How odd, I used to be omniscient. My form has limited my range of consciousness. And yet...I find myself admiring this planet during the night. It is as if the universe flows in, touches down and embraces this place. I feel quite at home in the night. Shifted.

Well, all I have to say is,
