Throw it in a high powered coffee grinder with some lactose, you'll get a tan a powder.  If exposed to humid air for too long it will be begin to re-tar.

Better Living Through Chemistry / Re: Help me quit etizolam
« on: November 18, 2014, 02:06:57 am »
Since this is a already a thread on what I was considering. . .

Over roughly the past 5 weeks I've been through 94mg of etizolam (about to be 95, fuck it) and I'm not sure how much alcohol.  Probably about 2x bottles of wine 3x a week give or take, which I've been keeping to in the past quite regularly.  I've often been taking at least take .5 in the morning, but no large doses.  I've never gotten the shakes or anything like that in the past from drinking or other benzo use.

Do you think I'll experience withdrawals?  I'm thinking of just getting some valerian root and tapering my (now) last 5mg in .5mg in halves when needed and maybe a tall can if things get too antsy.  Really I'm concerned about some sort of withdrawal induced panic attack.  Already I'm a pretty antsy guy, so if it were to happen I'd say I'm good candidate.  The thing is it seems like that first GABA withdrawal induced panic attack can open the flood gates to the flood of shit.

Also to OP:  While I know they are not exactly similar have you considered using some shit like gabapentine for the end of a taper?  It is lame but seems to help from what I've read.  Also pretty legal (as opposed to prison sentences for a scheduled drug) without a script as far as meds go in most place.  I'll also make a wild guess and say it wont show up and a standard drug panel.

+1 on pipe smoking.  With the hundreds of blends which can differ hugely, that is like being a kid in a candy store.  Some blends even taste and smell like candy.

I have a Falcon stuffed with some Irish flake and damn I'm feeling good (the first full of pills might have helped).

I used to chain smoke cigarettes but sine I've picked up the pipe they don't even appeal to me unless I'm hammered, so it seems like my nicotine addiction has painlessly decreased.  I've been rotating Irish Flake, Nightcap, and Old Gowry which is great for mild whenever bowl.   I use an ecig as well to hold me off when it's more convenient.

I like cigars as well but its not something that appeals to me frequently.  I have a decent selection in a tupperdor and mostly have been reaching for the pipe instead

Another plus is that is much cheaper than cigarettes and cigars as long as you don't buy some large fancy pipe collection.  It is also more self limiting than cigarettes, some becoming a fiend should be less of a problem.

Agreed with Missouri Meerschaum, just got a Country Gentleman and it's great for the price.  Smokes better than some of my heirloom briars and I don't have to worry about breaking it.  A used Falcon pipe can go for less than $15 and the bowls are interchangeable and cheap.

If OP wants to enjoy the occasional smoke without becoming a addict I'd say get a Missouri Meerschaum and maybe aromatic like Peter Stokkebye (not into that myself) if he likes things like Camel Crush.   Peterson's Irish Flake is a a great sweet burley but the nicotine might leave someone without a tolerance on the ground.

He could have been a 'witch'

Reminds me of when me and a friend went to check out an old abandoned cemetery in the woods of a small town which was supposedly haunted, as well as the Indian burial ground.  While trying to leave we got a little lost so asked a lady how to gtfo.  After she gave us directions, my friend asked if she has seen anything odd and she replied that witches come to the area, and after she told them to f off they had been leaving weird 'hexes' such as odd looking bottles filled with piss mixed with other stuff on her property.  I thought she was just playing up the reputation of the cemetery but sure enough once we found causeway off the island we saw a woman in her 40s dressed in a dark robe seated in front of a candle on the shore.  When my friend decided he would harass her as well and asked her what she was doing from his car, she just stared him down in return .  Very quickly a 7 foot tall gaunt and chaulky looking negro in overalls appeared from behind us and asked us what the deal was.  He also had a thick southern accent, the sort you'd heard a slave use in a movie, despite being nowhere near the south.   No idea how he got there so quick, it was at probably over 50 feet to the entrance of the causeway and he would be hard to miss.
