... And Rock & Roll / Re: What albums are you anticipating?
« on: June 22, 2014, 01:58:02 pm »
I wish Jeff Rosenstock didnt bum everyone out and fucking drop Bomb the Music Industry! after like 10 years of making tons of awesome music.

Now all i have left is waiting for my fucking T-Shirt to come in the mail with my download code for the stupid fucking movie and feel like I'm still a part of a musical lifestyle from my youth.

I'm allowed to pretend music hasn't totally gone to shit right? Honestly I can't say there is anything as of right now that I can think of and say "hmm, well it'd be awesome if this group made a new album". The only shit I listen to is rap and classical/prog and punk lately, that and my dad and brother's drum and bass jazz fusion/prog band. Nothing new excites me anymore in the music world unless it's local talent.

I Take back my first statement, I look forward to some of the local musicians back home in B-low producing more music because it's spot on and they fucking rock, bands like Whiskey Reverb:
http://whiskeyreverb.com/music/
(listen to Middle)
Well Worn Boot :
http://www.wellwornboot.com/media.html
and fuck it here's my dad and my brothers band, Ish Kabbible:
http://www.reverbnation.com/ishkabbible

These guys always make more music. I'm excited to see bands make more music more frequently than what commercial music is. As for SOAD, Serj won't even play in America anymore from what I was told by some more-diehard-than-me fans, and as lovely as it would be to hear the original band together again, I can safely and happily still strain my vocal chords singing to every single word off of steal this album and toxicity.

Wouldn't abnormal happiness also classify as a delusion?

your goodies are not just for me, but for the sake of all net neutrality, and uphold the integrity of freedom of speech and the freedom to expression. your goodies mean so much more than what you want to label them with, and showing said goodies will forever make you a member of history and renown to the world as the girl who upheld net neutrality with glorious goodies. glorious goodies for all.

I'm sure even Patrick could understand the importance of net Neutrality. Edward Snowden Understood. Why can't you?

I just feel like a lot of mental disorders are just misinterpreted emotions.

The definition of a mental disorder is a chemical variance in the mind.

No two minds are chemically equal (with the exception of true genetic twins).

We all have a chemical variance, so therefore, by definition, we all harbor some kind of mental disorder.

This has to do with what I'm talking about in the original post because I don't think me analyzing the way people interact means I need to figure out what is wrong with them, it just means I need to figure out how to adjust my own scope in handling these said genotypes.

And I'm not always high Arnox just 75% of the time. Like right now I'm as straight as an arrow.

Why do we have to describe and diagnose emotions as 'disorders'? I don't understand that.

Mad Scientists / Re: The Alcubierre Drive

I just thought it was cool that we have the closes thing to a 'true' Mass Effect drive. I really do want to see humanity make it off the planet in my lifetime, maybe get a space colony going or a planetary colony maybe someday. this is one of the ways to do it right here if we could ever make it work.

Plus this forum section had no posts in it and I thought this would be a cool topic to kick it off with.

Mad Scientists / The Alcubierre Drive
« on: June 15, 2014, 03:33:34 am »
The Alcubierre Drive is an FTL preposition that works by negating the mass of an object, and moving space around it to ensure it's arrival at a faster-than-light speed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive

What's really funny is, it would seem this is what the entire Mass Effect game franchies is bassed around, and the Mass Effect is literally the negating of Mass for construction, travel, and functionality. It even works with it's own Exotic matter called Element Zero, deeming the plausibility even further.

So who thinks we still have a chance of finding the right exotic matter to make our drive work?

Help & Suggestions / Can we focus on producing informative content?
« on: June 15, 2014, 03:10:14 am »
Instead of ban dramma and he said she said nonsense?

I like to ask questions a lot, and it's something I don't see on here. I think people are afraid to ask questions in the response of someone doing a LMGTFY or telling you to go find out for yourself.

When someone poses a question, and someone gives an informative answer, THAT is CONTENT! Good golden informative content, and we need that on this site if it means anything. Not automatically Google bombing and trying to get rid of everyone with a butt-hole fetish or a cussing problem.

I'd like to try and help by suggesting everyone take at least 20 minutes out of there day, and I mean our core users, to pick a fucking topic on that list, and put some thought into something of that category, and pose a relevant question, or make an informative post that is on topic and to the point.

Instead of doing fucking detective work over who makes rule infringements.
