Tracked him down because I wasn't there when shit hit the fan, and when I found him I dispensed with the bullshit and went straight to the ass whoopin'. Left the piece of shit bleeding on the side of the road. Goddamn, I needed that release.

A little backstory:

My parents, friends, other family all knew this guy. Construction worker, pill head, alcoholic. Not the kind of person that I choose to associate with, but their are those in my family with similar interests, so I knew the guy whether I liked it or not. To keep the TLDR to a minimum, the guy needed a place to stay, so my mom let him ride this old couch on her carport. Doors stayed locked at night when they went to sleep, and he was gone to work in the morning. Tonight my sister was keeping my cousin's kids for her when he came in belligerent as fuck. My cousin was asked to do something, but she was having trouble, so he went to help and ended up grabbing her by the arm and pushing her down. Now, I'm not sure which happened first, but he also made comments about my sisters weight that she overheard which made her cry. She's about the sweetest girl in the world. She didn't deserve to hear that in her own home. Anyway, my mom kicks the guy out then calls me and tells me what went down. I was out with my son's mom at that time, so we skipped the rest of dinner and left to go find his ass. Lo and behold, the first paragraph.

I'd say that I regret nothing, but I fucked dude up pretty good. I probably could have taken it easier on him, but whatever. He had it coming. I've wanted to kick his ass for some time now, and tonight he fucked up and gave me a reason.

What the fuck is wrong with construction?  Alcohol?  Pills?  Those all seem great to me.  If the guy was a fuckup, fine, but those traits alone don't make him a bad person.

Honestly, the guy is probably a fuckup - but the whole situation makes me think everyone in your family is some white trash, fuck ups as well.  They're probably just as to blame as he is - stop fucking having kids.
