For me personally an all year round drink for me is Newcastle brown ale, I can drink that in the heat of summer to get wasted or to company nice food. I'm also a big Leffe Blonde drinker which is from Belgium (best lager makers in the world) it has a incredible full body taste.
In winter I love Jack Daniels either neat or with a drop of coke, to me the 25th of December is just another day without a bottle of JD.
If I'm on holiday by the beach and do not have access to my beloved booze I'd be sipping daqueries all day until I'm a drunken mess.
So, what's your favourite booze?
Belgians aren't big on lagers. Stella is the most widely circulated Belgian lager. Leffe makes some good blonde and brown ales though. Also try Gouden Carolus, Chimay, St Bernardus, Trappiste Rochefort, tripel Karmeliet, Kasteel's offerings, and any others you can find.
Anymore I drink whatever. I prefer craft beer, good aged rum or bourbon. I tend to drink whatever I can afford. Lately it's been Evan Williams white label (100 proof bottled in bond) and PBR for cheap beer. I love craft beer but it's expensive and if I'm going to get drunk I don't really care about the taste.
While I'd agree with Stella being the most popular in bars and is widely more common and much cheaper than Leffe, you still can buy it as a premium bottle.
I also like some craft beers, recently had a taste for some ipa's, but more than likely could not sit there all night slamming them.
