Explosives set off underground would produce a very noticeable shockwave, and would definitely cause some panic. I've felt both, and explosives do not feel like an earthquake.

Best effect you could produce with a sufficiently large set of speakers would be to stage a large gunfight or explosion. Set off a bunch of smoke in the area to mask what's going on, then start into the sound effects. In a sufficiently crowded situation, people will freak. People in large groups are stupid like cattle.

Have you ever been in an earthquake? Nothing you can do with some bass speakers is going to come close to replicating the feeling that the ground under your feet just turned into jello.

38 degrees isn't bad at 35-40. At 70, it's going to suck balls. Add a couple layers of thermal inside of a leather jacket. You want no wind getting through, and you want to trap as much existing heat as possible. Thick ass snowmobiling gloves with the hot packs are a good idea. You do not want your hands to go numb. Keep your neck wrapped up too. No exposed skin at all. Wear thick hiking type socks, and zip your pant legs shut. The extremities are where the cold will start.

Around here they passed a law now where you have to give them at least 3 feet of clearance at all times, and you cannot go across the center line to do so. So now the fuckers ride side by side or on the fog line and you're stuck sitting behind them on narrower roads while the fuck around in their spandex pants.

Yup. He had half a spool of tape attached to the bill in like two strips. Machine managed to suck the bill in and he spent a while trying to fish it out. Managed to stick tape all over the inside of the mechanism. Hell, he ended up with half of it wrapped around his own hands. Wish there were cell phone cameras that far back. It would have ended up on YouTube.
