Spurious Generalities / Working in fort mac AB
« on: December 10, 2014, 07:55:19 pm »
Just a heads up for you guys you probably won't hear much from me over the next three months because I'm working up in fort mac AB for the next three months with the oil fields.

When I can afford to I'll invest in a wireless internet stick thing for my laptop so I can keep posting here but until then I'm not dead, just busy.

You know I've been thinking allot about my collection and I think I'm going to sell a good deal of it off.

Reason being is I only use a select few of them anymore and I really don't have a use for as many as I have. I'd rather look into buying a couple  multicaliber rifles instead of having a safe full of paper weights.

Sell to gangs in the US or ISIS supporters, should get a good price.

Yeah... No.

Only thing I'd give a nigger from my guns is a bullet to the brain. I keep my shit legal because unlike most I've got more to loose than time if I get thrown into prison.

Most I gave was like $20 in twonies in a guy trying to backpack to Alberta that was willing to do something for it.(just gave him the cash didn't want anything for it)

And back when I did smoke weed I ran into a bum that asked me for a couple bucks and I told the dude I don't carry cash so he then asked me if I could give him a smoke which I don't do.
"But I do smoke weed" and I gave him a joint and he was all "fucking Christmas man!".

Sat down, chilled a bit and finished off my cold coffee. All good.

Also bought a pizza once for a homeless dude and we talked about random chicks we banged and fucked up shit we did for a few hours.

Those are some sweet pieces you've got there man, lotta fun to be had, how and how much do you plan on getting for the paper weights in Canada?

All depends on what I bought them for and what their worth.

The little nazzi youth gun I picked up for $225 and my Lee Enfield I picked up for $50 but it's supposedly worth $1200.

The nazi youth gun if I got my money back on it is be fine with it, seen them go for $250 myself but I'm not over worried on the extra $25.

My 20 gauge I'll probably keep until I can replace it with a multi calibered gun as well but my .300 savage I'd probably get rid of it for around $240.

This all depends if the potential buyer has the appropriate licensing and the likes.

To my knowledge the grass still hasn't grown back there yet.

So what happens when a rat trips the rat line and baby raper's computer goes up for no reason?

A-you don't bait the trap...duhh...

B-then we don't have to deal with baby raper anymore!

the heat Thermite putts off can't be contained by a "crucible" so you would have to use another explosive...preferably one that is self-oxidizing. self oxidizing compounds tend to be fairly volatile, thermite isn't because of its extremely high activation temp.

I don't have this problem, but if I did I would keep said computer in my basement/dungeon, dig a 3 foot hole, run the wire up out of the hole, put the drive in a bag of thermite with an ignitor, and bury it. if it goes off, it won't trash my entire house.

What about a cast steel sewer pipe... I got one that's about 12" across and almost 3/4 thick... Put about 3' of sand in that bad boy and a controlled amount of thermitewith an appropriate vent (1" gas pipe insulated to vent outside) and you should bet alright with enough clearance.

Another option would be an electromagnet and a very well contained shape charge.

Bible Black.  :o

Truth be told it was DBZ.

I've given some serious thought to rigging a hard drive this way, encased in a firebrick enclosure so that only the hard drive goes up. But honestly, the level of shadiness I get up to doesn't warrant this kind of response.

What about a ventilated, Stand alone crucible?

Basically a fireproof container with your hard drive in it separate from your computer but still hooked up via extended connection lines. Something goes down and the "fire chamber" goes off incinerating anything inside of it without harming the outside areas.

Rook, You and me should be friends.

Asides from that for the ginseng make sure you leave enough to repopulate what you pick. I know of a few wild patches and I've seen what people can do to them if told about them so definitely good idea to tell no one about any of it.

I plan on transplanting some to my land when I get the chance but until then my lips are shut about where it is.

Besides that Fidel heads go for a ridiculous price in my parts... I've seen them of upwards of $7+ for 12 of them in my area and I pick them by the hundreds out of my swamp.

Also goose berries but you usually have to process them into pies or jams or wine before anyone will look at them, Something they will look at though is "organic caffeine free self sustaining locally grown coffee" IE cut and dried dandelion root. People underestimate how useful that little weed is be its medicinal uses or it's use as food.

Cattails  are also fucking amazing, You can get a pollen flour substitute out of them, A form of tough asparagus out of the young shoots, Something that resembles sweet potatoes out of the roots, The fluff can be used as kindling, and you can weave the reeds into baskets that you can use yourself of sell. One of the most under estimated plants out there in my opinion.

Now for mushrooms I seeded some oyster mushrooms and dryads saddle in my area and they're doing great growing wild on their own.

There's also some other varieties out there that'll waste away a good weekend but I don't get into them too often anymore.

I also hunt and trap crayfish once or twice a year from multiple lakes so I don't over fish one area too badly and when I can afford it I'll be digging out the swamp up top and putting in a fish stocked pond with crayfish and the likes.

Also turtles are good to eat now and again.

Also in the process of learning how to make middle eastern stone aged bows out of standing saplings around my place, I use these to hunt and set traps with and can even sell them once I get to a better level of a more "ornate" bow.

There's more but I'll just leave one last bit of info for you since you've just started trapping, Soup cans make great traps for weasels and sometimes coons.

Only open the lid half way and pour out your soup then rinse out the can and fold the lid back the other way until its bent in a little bit. Now drill a hole on the other non opened end and put some wire through there to a drag or a stake.
Now just put in some raw chicken, When a weasel goes to get it they trap themselves in the can because they can't back out due to the can pinching them in place.
Same goes for the coons but they can eventually escape if left in it too long.

Acetone Peroxide, Not too sure about the solubility of organic peroxides in nitro methane though.

I know you can use nitro methane with AN then have your booster and your cap and they work just fine.
