They can't arrest you they just do intelligence gathering. They might work in cooperation with the military and local and federal police agencies namely the RCMP.
The RCMP will conduct actual investigations on its citizens, they can arrest and prosecute you not CSIS.

Csis is more like the CIA they do national security spying and such and intelligence gathering. If you're living in Canada they won't investigate you, the RCMP will. You are full of crap. They don't have any files on you.

At this point they will either schedule an interview or tell me that they are reviewing applications and will be in touch. If it's the latter, I wait 2 days and call back, tell them my name and ask for an interview... Rinse and repeat every 2 days until you either get an interview or a restraining order.
Once you get the interview, it doesn't really matter what is or is not on your application. You gotta get in there, make a good impression and sell yourself.
