You should make your own decisions and all that, but your tolerance will only keep getting higher and higher.  Eventually your doctor will stop raising the dose, too.

And if you make an error while on these doses, like drinking and doing something that lands you in jail for a night, you'll likely be forced to wean off of the medications entirely.  I've seen it before.  They send you to the psychiatric unit of the hospital until they figure out what to do with you, and they start the weaning immediately.  Then you'll either go to a serious detox program or will work with your regular doctor to get it done.  The doctor probably won't want to continue prescribing you the meds because at that point you're a liability to him and his practice.

So don't drink!

Ok, I was a little harsh there, I'm sorry. But I actually pretty much started at 1mg for a month and then moved to the bars after that. And no, my doctors not a tard or crooked, he's seriously the best doctor I've ever known, and I mean he KNOWS his shit like none other. He trusts me and I trust him so im not too worried about anything...btw, is methadone mote dangerous than other opiates when combined with benzos? Because they always say that that's such a dangerous combo, most of benzo OD's involve methadone, but am I right in saying that all that hype is probably just because so many people in methadone clinics mix with xanax and fuck up? That's just what I assume. Could be wrong though.

I take 2mg alprazolam 3 times a day. I have no opiate tolerance, only done hydrocodone like 4 times a couple years ago. My dose of alp is for legitimate anxiety, and I legitimately need 2mg doses. This leads me to infer that I either have a GABAa deficiency or a VERY high pre-existing tolerance to GABAerics. 2mg, even when I first started taking it did not/does not knock me out or make me inebriated. It simply makes me about 85% more functional.

My question is, if I want to use my DOC (hydro or other opioids excluding oxy) recreationally on a weekend, how should I go about doing this?

If I abstain from the xanax completely, I'll go into withdrawal. Possibly have a seizure. If I take my reg dose, I'm afraid I might OD.

So to anyone who's taken these drugs together or been on one and used the other, how do you do it correctly? lol

Also I'm not looking to completely nod out or anything, just maybe like 15-22.5mg hydro or a little bit of methadone, or possibly a TINY bump of H at most (only one of these, not all together obviously).

DXM was magical the first time, fun the second time, and worth it the third time. Every time since then its been either awful or no euphoria. It always feels like brain damage whenever your on it too which feels like shit. I agree, go with MXE powder.
