Title: Old-ish iPhone, what do?

An iPhone recently came into my ownership and I intend on using it solely on airplane mode and as an iPod. What other things have you done with old apple hardware, what should I do with mine? Any neat hacks to try out that will hopefully not make it into a paperweight?
