Is there some way to fix this or is this seriously how it is? It's very fucking annoying.

I even had that problem on Zoklet. Not so much the bottom, but I would click a thread and it would take me to a random post/page, instead of the very beginning.

On zoklet it would take you to the first unread post and I am also having this problem

The section at the top of the homepage shows Recent Posts, as topics. It will bump up most recent topic posted in, but the link willl (should) take you to the most recent post of that topic, which would be at the bottom.
However, if you go to a section like the "show new replies to your post," then it will take you to the first unread post of a topic that you've posted in, which may or may not be at the bottom.

Well, it's kind of disorienting honestly. It makes it rather difficult to read through a thread when you've got to go back to the first page or scroll all the way up. I know you're gonna hate me for saying this but: I never had this problem on Zoklet. I think it's something that should be looked into not to make the site more like zoklet or anything but because it just makes things easier to read.
