Hmm...If it LOOKS real, you could spend it... Not at one of the corner stores with Asians working them though they see right through that shit.

I heard some people put it in a clothes dryer with some poker chips or small coins and tumble it till the desired texture is achieved or one can use a ball mill or something of similar concept,then again its not hard to crumple it a couple of times...depends on how close the paper used is to real currency...there was a thread on zoklet purely about funny money...if you can find it archived somewhere there's lots of info

start by printing on a bleached 1$ or five (security strip) so your actually using the exact type of paper.

Depends on the person.  When I worked at a bank, I detected a few counterfeits very quickly just by texture.
