yes, right after you steal them put them in DFU mode. and restore them on a pc that is not connected to your wifi

that is why you put it in DFU mode, also after a restore they cant track shit. just keep it turned off. mak an add on craiglist ( ON ANOTHEER TOWN) and sell

If they have find my iPhone enabled which most people do the phone will be totally unusable even if you reset it.

yea op I am pretty sure it isn't possible to reset iphones locked by the "find my iphone" feature. I haven't seen or heard about unlocking those... also stolen iDevices can be tracked via GPS. If the persons phone has service the service will connect to data and show the person the exact location and address you have the iphone at. cops will probably come to ur house and the person may think about shoving a potato in ur car exhaust
