You haven't smoked weed til you have had California weed. I don't know where to start. I came here in February to get away from probation, now I have two bench warrants but I am never going back. Getting a medical recommendation was easy as cake, finding a dispensary was easy too. I found one and I am a regular They have EVERYTHING from shatter, waxes, nugs, candies brownies Etc

I assure you, as far as actual buds go, you can find primo dank weed everywhere in the U.S. that is every bit as good as Cali or CO bud.
The wax and extracts and shit are a different story though. Ain't no-one in Louisiana making live resin.

I've been hundreds of times and no, you're wrong. Anyways, if you want the best deals you go to the coffee shops on the outskirts which are mainly frequented by the locals who want to avoid all the annoying tourists. My friend owns a shop called "Resin" in Dam central so i get all the best deals anyway.

This emphasis on good weed is something I don't understand. I care much more for the smell/taste than anything else. I have friends going on about specific strains and talking about percentages and I just truly could not give a fuck and find it kind of ridiculous honestly. Weed isn't like wine where there is this huge variance. I mean what do you have really? Smell before you smoke it probably has the most variety/ easiest to discern and even then it's like, limited to a few smells that once you've smelled you've smelled. I would honestly rather have SHITTY weed because it still smells/tastes just fine to me and you get to physically smoke more for your money, doesn't get you as balls bustingly high either. There's a lot of weed that without tolerance you simply cannot smoke more than a bowl or two out of without getting all shooglywoogly and I don't like that.

Candles smell even better and have 50x the amount of smells. What does it matter that you can get high off your source of smell? Most of the taste gets destroyed when you smoke it anyway, not that you ever really smoke much of good weed.
