Title: Allow users to thank their own posts

If I'm not allowed to do this the entire concept of thanks is thrown into disrepute

I agree with you totally

Now where do thanks go when you get them? I see no system of thanks other than saying "thanks"

perhaps you could point me in a THANKS direction?
