Title: AP, NM and KNO3
Post by: Iudicium Infernalum on November 14, 2014, 06:02:57 pm
Dissolving 100g of AP in 250ml of nitromethane adding it to 1kg KNo3 with 10g blasting cap. Viable?

Or doesn't the AP dissolve in NM? It would be one hell of a booster if it did.

Depends on what AP stands for, so what does it stand for?

My guess would be ammonium phosphate.

Based of ammonium phosphate's instability I don't think it would  (I AM NOT A CHEMIST)

Acetone Peroxide, Not too sure about the solubility of organic peroxides in nitro methane though.

I know you can use nitro methane with AN then have your booster and your cap and they work just fine.
