I'd play it tho. I think pushing violent media into the mainstream, or at least awareness of it, has a net positive effect on society. Hopefully once we all watch X hours of gore at least violence will be closed as a tool to sensationalist reporting. After that we just need to broadcast porn on public channels for a few years and then maybe sex scandals won't be a thing anymore either.

there is 4 articles on polygon alone and at least one on kotaku there's some others but I honestly can't be assed to dig them up it's all the same shit again and again
