Title: Big threads hogging up too much bandwidth?

The "what are you listening" to thread slows my internet down to a crawl every time I open it, is there something we can do like, having youtube vids no all pre-load as soon as you open the thread or something? Is it just my interbuttz?

It's actually a memory issue, not a bandwidth issue. As your machine works harder and harder, more physical memory gets eaten up, leaks start to form, etc.

Wrap things like that in spoiler tags so they don't all have to load each time.

Get a better computer.  One manufactured within the last decade should do
