On the other hand, we wouldn't want to be looking at a situation where several users stalk Zek and Arnox throughout all the threads across the entire BBS blowing up ALL the conversations just because either of them posted in it. That's called stalking, and that should be against the rules. Extremes: that's what should be our concern here. We want balance, but we don't want extremes. What's to stop a handful of users stalking Zek and Arnox across the entire BBS and we end up getting friendly fire on all the topics being discussed? You see the conundrum we are now in, now that mistakes have been made.

Even worse, now that they've set the precedent...."Meh, that information/thread wasn't useful any how"....as an excuse for THEIR derailing bullshit, its now setting an example people could point to as a reason for their own off-topic chicanery. This is a conundrum THEY created, and only doing the right thing can legitimately "end" a lot of this drama and controversy. And using their control panel won't do it, instead just fuel the drama that much more.
