Holy fuck I bet this thing can devour wild foul, as well as puppies, kittens, and human babies. Naskrecki found this record-sized Goliath Birdeater in a Guyanese rainforest.

If you put a saddle on that thing, kids could ride it

interesting

Just imagine trying to squash that by stepping on it.

Its interesting that the article says despite its size a chicken would still pose more of a threat to humans than the Goliath Birdeater. Also its bite while poisonous to humans is not deadly so dont gotta worry about that.
-
I'm pretty sure it would still hurt like a bitch. Sticking a thumb in your eye isn't deadly either. I wouldn't call it a 'pleasant experience', though.
-
Considering that the article states the bite would feel like getting a nail through your hand I am not insinuating the experience would be pleasant. I'm simply stating that it would be survivable.

I'd keep one as a pet.. breed them. I seen that video the other day on facebook.. I wonder if it eats small spiders?? The article might tell, but honestly.. I didnt read it since I already knew the relevant data to make a reply. Would be pretty cool to breed them though.. if it reproduces at the rate of other spiders, you could amass yourself a horde in no time.. arachnophobia sufferers would freak.

i'd be pissed if that got in my hair

So that is where Wariot has been
