Title: how to get to the basis of neurotransmitter systems

a. acquire large variety of sizable bug specimens from different categories
b. acquire chemicals that activate certain neurotransmitters and feed them to the various species
c. see which critters react to chemical X1,2,3... which activates Y1,2,3... receptor
d. group which animals "test positive" in reaction
e. if not redundantly clear, theorize which similarities in overall behavior that the specimens have by focusing on statistically extracting the common factor of neurotransmitter Y1,2,3...
f. analyze the difference in reactions to other theoretical receptor systems.
g. move up to larger organisms if results prove nontrivial
