Someone mentioned about creating a profile on a Fundraising Site to raise cash.
Well somebody maybe doing it here in the UK as we speak.
As nobody outside of the UK will not know about this I will explain the story.
A couple in Spain who had a child who they say was 'dying' because he has cancer, moved to the UK to have free medical use.
They then took there child from the hospital claiming ' The Hospital was not doing enough' for there child and ran to Spain
They then started cashing In.
A newspaper paid 60k for there 'Story'
They had an IndieGoGo account - which hit 25k
A justGiving Account - which raised 30k
A private Paypal - which recieved monies.
And Numerous Charities paying out.
Well anyway the latest charity has refused to pay out as it was supposed to be for there 'Legal Fees' and now the child is showing 'incredible' signs of recovery.
A good well executed Scam all round.
Type in Ashya King for full details

Like you said, it's a well executed scam. Fuck, when your kid has cancer and is about to die, why not at least make profit out of it?
Aslong as people are stupid enough to fall for this shit, it's the fault of the people and not the scammer in my opinion. It's not like you HAVE to pay for them.

I already done something similar to this. I didn't make nearly that much but I did get a little over 5k

how much time and effort did you put in, is the important part

I'm not gonna lie and say it was easy. It was tough and I put in a lot of time for months before being able to do it that's why I won't do it again. It isn't worth unless you can execute it right. The right way to execute is to go viral on Facebook or twitter. I'm talking about having 25k friends. That's when u can do magic. You'll make a lot of money in soo many different ways if you can get that many friends.

One would probably have to do a lot of gay ass networking and hanging around 'celebrity' type sites...doesn't sound fun....but that is why they call it 'work' I guess.

I don't view it as a scam. They are providing a service. They are giving you the opportunity to pay money to a cause that you feel is worthy and that makes you feel like you are contributing back to society. Non-profit organizations do this every day and we all know they're just as scammy. The problem is that society is designed to bring shame and hardship against the individual, while the organization is revered and rewarded for the same actions.

They have claimed that there child is near death (not true) and HAS to have a certain medical care (Not True) They said they would pay for it by selling there Spanish Home (They Have Not)
In return they have sat back and watched there balance grow on these lies.
It is a scam

How do you know it's not true? Maybe the kid was near death and experienced a miraculous recovery through the faith and prayers of all of the people who donated money?

Do these sites always pay out to PP or can they pay directly via ACH transaction?
