Watched the first two as they are the same episode in parts. Looked grim as fuck and will not be watching again.

You won't watch it caz "grim"?  I gave up AoT after like 3 eps because there was NO comic relief whatsoever.  Used to be into serious animes but now adays if it doesn't make me laugh or smile it feels more tedious than fun to watch.

Grim, non-funny piece of shit and very unrealistic.

Damn, I watched the entirety of the first season after watching the first episode.

It's one of few shows I watched in Japanese.

Did this series steal the plot idea from Pacific rim or did Pacific rim steal the plot idea from this series?

I think Pacific Rim was the thief tbh, this show was made ages ago.

Just another anime with a protagonist that can't talk without screaming his lungs out. It's one of the things that make me dislike anime. Imagine eating a christmas diner with someone like that.

They make it obvious

For one thing they use the same terms. German 'jaeger' and 'kaiji' as an example
