Post by: splooge gook on October 15, 2014, 07:37:05 pm: I speak a language that nobody else seems to speak. Am I just pretentious and arrogant and too self-obsessed? I think I might be one of the smartest people I've known, or I might be the smartest person I've ever known, because nobody "gets" some of these concepts or none of it has been researched t as extensively as i have, but at the same time my academics are terrible and it's not like I would pass every test I ever took, just most of them. But after seeing that you can appreciate esoteric logic that everyone you ever meet will think is just random symbols it makes you feel kind of like a "special" person

Give us an example. Unless it involves advanced mathematics, because, honestly, I lost interest after elementary school. I won't make excuses for it, that's just what happened.

i'm no good at math either, but for example, have you ever had a math idea come to you or some sort of logic game, then you get the urge to write it down, and you spend like 2 hours straight rewriting the thought in your head to try to make the formula as simple as possible with the least number of factors? i feel i can pretty much always come up with a new idea to keep myself occupied, and at a certain point it might look like gibberish to others
