Can't believe I hadn't seen these before, considering I just recently did some research on upcoming firearm and ammunition innovations. I'd definitely like to pick up a box or two.. one for my own target practice experimentation, another for home defense.. Just sure as hell wouldn't want to be hit by one of those.

There's been this solid petal style ammo for quite awhile it always looks really cool but generally tends to under perform in most situations compared to a standard expanding ammunition
I would actually like to shoot some watermelons with it though

As a gun enthusiast, I enjoy novelty ammo.. not saying this ammo is purely novelty. Kind of like those dragonsbreath shotgun rounds.. I'm not entirely sure of the practicality.. then again, it would be neat to shoot something and simultaneously set it on fire (or just burn it pretty good). The RIP rounds look as in they would do an extensive amount of physical damage over a regular round.. all that shrapnel is going to be quite hard to pick out on an operating table. And that's if its even possible to suture such damage that could be done to ones arteries..
