I read the boards and see camera flaws and issues in many custom roms. If you use an AT&T device I would like to know the ROM that used and help other people to boot. I have been torn between Nuclear Fallout and Goldeneye. I spoke with someone chat the other day and they used Cyanogen. I am pissed with the stock camera and my battery life as it is and I was going to reflash now, but I thought I'd post in here and not have someone from XDA pushing me to one choice or another. I want to be able to use my IR afterward and I also use Torque (clearing and reading OBD II codes). I considered a stripped factory rom but if you have great success and battery life with a certain rom let me know. If you use AT&T or Verizon I think we are in the same boat of locked bootloaders, but once we are rooted we are all at the same place. I want to know what gives you best battery life and is functional. My S5 pisses me off daily for what I use for battery on stock rom and have to find a plug-in while I'm out during the day. I have a 10gb data plan and never use side by side. I need this thing to function as a tool, camera (I hate carrying separate devices and many HD cams are too slow for me because I never need HD, when I am working on something I want a quick pic so I put it back the same way if I am too drunk to remember), and occasionally as a phone even though I rarely answer calls I only place them.
Tell me what works for you on the S5 and how awesome it is. I'm backed up ready to go but I read forums and wanted to check in a place like this where we aren't fighting for popularity of our ROMs (though I just did make it exist). Tell me what you run and issues you have or don't have

I can't speak for your device, but my experience was this: Cyanogen - a level up but not as closely based to my particular device. Cromi-X - more closely based to the stock rom, but not the same look as the up to date rom. I think cromi was better I will be sticking with it.
When you say backed up you best mean the blob files or some shit. Honestly while I am totally backed up apparently enough to recover from a brick. Just follow directions and you'll be fine. As far as what works -> xda forums. Just make sure the thread is still relevant, they usually edit the op to keep it up to date.

I'm running Nuclear Fallout 2.0 with absolutely no issues. I'm gonna give Dynamic Kat and CM11 a chance next week.
