Probably not. Edify controls it but he's been gone for a very long time and it doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon.

*shrugs* It was his responsibility and he failed with it rather miserably. Didn't even give the staff proper access to it so they could run it before he went on vacation which is mostly why it's in the state of chaos it is now. And now I'm thinking about just cutting it off from the site completely. However, occasionally, it still does have its uses.

why don't you just make an #intosanctuary channel and have that link to the mibbit client on that channel/something less 2003

I need the proper permissions for it which I don't have. The IRC server is owned and run completely by edify. And he's gone.
EDIT: Oh wait. lol I know what you're saying now. TBH, I kind of forgot about creating and registering another channel. The way edify has set it up, it may not work for some weird reason but it should.

So....don't use edify's IRC server? Make your own and call it "intosanctuary" or some variation of that?
I mean for example in tinychat you can name your room whatever you want to name it and it permanently stays there. Tinychat isn't exactly the same thing, but I can't imagine it requiring any sort of technical prowess to DIY what is basically an empty chatroom for totseans to go

I thought it was funny how zok would be in the IRC channel all day but be scared to death to click on the website he ran that was literally named after him with his license plate in the banner.
Arnox is on here all day and has absolutely no idea what he's doing.
He's dumber than a weird sickly half breed geek from ohio but he's at least trying, failing and learning nothing every time.
I remember when DaGuru would make posts fantasizing about finding zok IRL and doing bubble yum ass shit to him as they live in the same state but now that all 9 people from zoklet know all zoks PI he hasn't done anything because he's too busy eating whipped cream out of his belly button

Nope. Don't have a device available for hosting that and my connection blows anyway.
Tinychat may work though. I don't know. I haven't really been giving chat much thought at all lately what with everything that's been going on.

We'll have to see what going on here. There's some things I need to research a little in this area first. Right now, we're gonna have to sort out how we're going to get the word out about this site.

I am embarrassed to advertise that I frequent a website that has the word 'sanctuary' in huge letters at the top. I turn my monitor off when guests come over to hide my shame. A namechange would really help...even something gay like 'arnox.com' would be better than 'intosanctuary'.
