Title: Depreciating Assets

Sanc community. Infinity Shock. Spectral. Arnox.

Each user's name can be thought of as a type of assets of appreciating or depreciating value within the community. Currently we have dozen upon dozens of usernames locked-up in neverending bans.

Take a look at the list, do you not see the intent here?
The people for whom the claim to these names is a righteous one were almost definitely not the 1 - 2 individuals who deliberately attempted to sabotage the establishment of this community and sabotage efforts to offer refuge to valued posters from Zoklet, by using them in attacks against the forum and locking these properties up indefinitely.

The longer these names remain locked up the narrower the chances are that this forum will attract the true individuals they belong to. They are depreciating badly in this state.

I open this line of discussion to put it forward that the names used in this manner are to be wiped from the banned list, and the user list, including all post history, so that they are no longer associated with their email accounts, no longer able to be recovered, and instead are names that no longer exist - free to be re-registered in the future.

Some community members went down with the ship or have immigrated elseware and their influence upon the community, for better, for worse, will be felt no longer.
Some members have embraced a clean slate, and through this chance may they become true contributors.

But there are always others to which their name remains valuable, and it is these users which we risk discouraging by way of locking up their time worn usernames in permanent bans, which would like to maintain their image or at the least let it rest in peace. Allow these people their rightful piece.
