Holy shit there is not one good piece of music listed here.  The clash and offspring deserve special note as some of the worst music to ever be foisted onto humanity by fucking satan himself.

Sleep - Dopesmoker
Pink Floyd - Echoes
Velvet Underground - Sister Ray
Yes - Close to the Edge/And You And I
Electric Wizard - Funeralopolis
The Cure - Pictures of You
Shakti - Face to Face
Meshuggah - Catch 33 (yeah it's an album but it's also one big song)
Pelican - Drought
5ive's Continuum Research Project - Baron
Steely Dan - Junkie Girl
Swans - just in general
Ulver - Eos
Ween - take your pick they're all good...Piss Up A Rope probably gets my biggest vote.
John Frusciante - can't pick one song but if I had to choose an album it would be a toss up between Smile From The Streets You Hold and To Record Only Water For Ten Days.
King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man or maybe In The Court Of The Crimson King
King Curtis - A Whiter Shade of Pale (live version from Withnail and I)

Fuck yes, Ween and the Cure.  I think I'd have to go with The Mollusk and Head on the Door, respectively.  Also:

Joy Division - Closer
Pearl Jam - Ten
Pretty much any Black Sabbath
Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica
Devo - Are We Not Men?
Kraftwerk -  The Man Machine
Radiohead - OK Computer
Weezer - Pinkerton

Trout Mask Replica is a great call.

I would recommend Physical Graffiti and 2112. They seem like pretty obvious choices to me.
