There's really not much to do other than remove their food supply if you want a no kill option.
A plastic cup and a sheet of paper works on even the most badass spiders... Like this fishing spider:Spoiler(http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/attachment.php?attachmentid=119077&stc=1&d=1374720970)
Think of it this way: You're just a tupperware container away from a new pet! ;D
Without killing them, looking at them or getting near them? :(
I fished one out of the pool the other day whos body was bigger than that quarter

There are spiders in the woods here with leg spread as big as my hand. The one in the picture is the biggest one I have ever seen in my house, though.
I tried to catch that spider in the picture with my hand but it was too fast so I slapped it with a 'ted nugents greatest hits' CD case. It fucking ran away, but the next day I found it dead in the middle of my living room.
it probably wasnt the same one. most likely one of its relatives hunting you while you sleep
He was chilling there for a few days, while I slept, and then disappeared.
Hey equeiniimininanimininititty, how's this for a spider? It was living in my computer tower.almost looks like a nug

I've found diatomaceous earth to be very effective. Most insects don't care for it, so they'll steer clear of it. Simply powder it along the edges of walls where they like to roam and hope for the best? There's really no other way to do it without killing them or going near them.

Would you recommend it for people who have pets in the house? (AKA pet friendly?)

Yes! That's actually why I bought it in the first place! Look it up, some people even mix diatomaceous earth with their pets food to help digestion. You can use it to give your pets a dry bath, too. I'm not even kidding. You can breath it in, get it on your skin and eat it. So can your pets. It's absolutely harmless.
Yea I see what you mean... I read on one site that some people mix it with their cows feed so I'm def going to have to do some more research one it..Thanx

No problem, man. It's a very fine, granulated white powder. I live by the woods, some come fall (like now) the spiders and other insects are usually clamoring to get to somewhere warmer. I have an underground basement, too. So, that doesn't help the issue. All the same, I simply sprinkled a liberal dosage of it along the perimeter of my home (up against the house itself) and, all along the walls and corners of the basement.
It seems to be a pretty good deterrent so far, as I've used it last year and the year before - and, the frequency with which I notice creepy crawlers around my home has diminished.
fuck spiders
fuck spiders
You gunna slide on up to its Cephalothorax and be all "Hey baby, How bout you and me slide on down to that motel six down the street there for some dank and dirty" While fingering its spinnerets.?
Cause... You know... That's some classy shit right there.
Al
Consider what's inside and comes out of those spinnerets and you've got yourself a legitimate movie idea at least on par with Teeth.
