It's great because it doesn't take itself too seriously, yet has really emotional moments (like with Crona).  I approve.

I have mixed feelings about Soul Eater. "Doesn't take itself too seriously" is definitely a plus, I like the kinda goofy artstyle, but it does end up being pretty serious sometimes and I think that's where it takes a nose dive. Crona was a fun character but basically everything in the lead up to, and including, the final battle was srsbsns and made me cringe a bit. I feel like I would have absolutely loved Stein's character if he wasn't quite so much of a mary sue. Even when he was busy being conflicted there wasn't any doubt he'd come around in the end.

IDK, fight/action anime just rubs me the wrong way categorically and maybe the thing that bothered me about Soul Eater was that it flirted with being something other than that but couldn't commit to it in the end.

 Soul Eater had so much potential, and I feel that by the end... Ah, idk.. I'm not going to throw any spoilers out there, but I definitely get what you mean.. and I think you get what I mean.  Then again, the Anime takes a much different route than the Manga so I've heard and even read a little of.. I will just say this, the last episode had some things going on worth further exploring.. that's all.

Oh yeah the anime ending was garbage.  Gotta read the manga.  It wasn't even that long, soo there ya go.  N you can start where the anime splits off at around ep 30 or so.

Fuck soul eater - That shit was tolerable.  I cannot get over the fact tha tMirai Nikki is so popular and is absolute shit. I thought Fate Stay Day/Night was bad but this shit...

The original fate stay night was pretty mediocre.  Don't get why so many ppl are creaming themselves about the remake.
