So far ask I know is most food service jobs dont actually check your college and GPA. also most autoshops ive applied to never checked my previous employments

u could put down a company that went out of business n they wont be able to know if ur lying about working there or not
i wouldnt think that most minimum wage type jobs would really bother checking that thoughly

Say you worked for Pan-Am airlines then worked for Enron then Kodak.
That should work.
Soon you'll be able to say that you worked for blackberry too

When I fill out applications, I only put my name and phone #. Then I will call them, tell them my name and ask for an interview. At this point they will either schedule an interview or tell me that they are reviewing applications and will be in touch. If it's the latter, I wait 2 days and call back, tell them my name and ask for an interview... Rinse and repeat every 2 days until you either get an interview or a restraining order.
Once you get the interview, it doesn't really matter what is or is not on your application. You gotta get in there, make a good impression and sell yourself.
