lots of people out there think "oohhh gosh chemistry it's so easy"
"if a meth head could do it i could do it"
sorry to burst your bubble. but chemistry is rather hard if you're starting from nothing
a simple acetic acid ----> acetyl chloride reaction is what will demonstrate what is involved
most would think acetic acid + a chloronating agent(thionyl chloride in this case) -----> acetyl chloride + sulfur dioxide + hydrogen chloride
pretty simple, yeah
but in reality the full reaction goes like this

rather hard to follow right? not really if you read the first few chapters of a chemistry text book from high school

I feel like it gets exponentially harder. feel like such a nub when I cant vac. Distill right

Hahaha... you grew on me, Unstable. Like fucking cancer or something.
Keep it up.

yeah I do that

Chemistry is a lot like baking. Any idiot can follow a set of instructions, but without experience and an understanding of what the hell is going on, you're going to get a substandard product. And possibly burn your house down.
