Order item, wait for it to arrive, accept it and sign using fake info if possible. (Don't recall the original details, plus shipping method works differently).

Wait few days after the arrival, launch a compliant that the stuff didn't arrive etc.

Not sure about the whole technique but it's basically covering your tracks and making your claim sound legit.

Its not new. But someone I knew allegedly would get online to customer service and get really pissed that a package was left and disappeared from in front of the door.

How does someone get a drop to have the item shipped to?

IIRC the person had it shipped to a friends house as a gift and got pissed when it "never arrived"

Should I wear a disguise and gloves?

How long until the FBI begins investigating?

Should I use TOR?

The FBI shouldn't get involved unless there's over $25k worth of losses.

This isn't brand new. This is as old as mail ordering.

There is a bigger scam on the hush hush

The Fake ID scam. Most nightclubs dont properly check so we can create fake ids to underage kids.

But don't tell anyone. This can be our thing.

Oh man. They do that?

We should make them from a country that doesn't exist... like Montana or France.

The new Amazon is brand new.  I've never heard of it before.  It wasn't discussed in any threads on Zoklet.

This sounds too close to one of the oldest in the mail book.

Alright, my friend ordered a $20 item and when UPS knocked on the door, my friend never answered.  The UPS guy left the package at my door.  I then took the package to the UPS shipping hub and gave it to them and told them that it was delivered to the wrong address.

What do I do now?  Do I just call Amazon and tell them that the item never came?

Alright, I called Amazon, and decided to use some social engineering to gain leverage.  I told them that I received the item and everything was perfect with the order.  I did this because they'll remember me to be a good customer and won't look into my order.

What should I do next?

Yes sirree Bob. You're an upstanding coward with no life experiences. Step away from the herd. Being another emotionless etomotom is over rated. The cattle are always led to slaughter. Step up. Step away , and, step into your own experiences. Be they bad or good----- they are yours. Just step away from the norm.

I think I'll set up multiple accounts and do this all at once.  This was a test so I only did it with one account.  I think I'll try 10 accounts and three items on  each account.  Move it up to $30 items and wait a few weeks to make it all look like I am a real customer.

10 X 3 = 30 items
30 X $30 = $900

$900 a month is really good money.

Another Amazon scam is to sell items on Amazon, ship the item, wait three weeks and then refund.  Imagine all of the free items the buyer will get.

Either you dont know what a scam is, or you want to lose money yourself on this one...
