First off, considering I was banned for the better part of a year....yeah, when some of these chumps are going to be in the same arena as me, I will settle a few scores and put people in their place. Especially when they are lying their asses off about what is what and trying to rewrite history for their own tainted legacy.
Most importantly though, during this transition phase the current staff at Sanctuary seems sincere about hearing out other people's opinions to make this place a thriving and great place to come to. And when a bunch of morons start crawling out of the woodwork trying to declare what kind of tactics "work", when Zoklet WAS the proven model of failure because of those same tactics....you can damn well bet I'm going to set people straight and call a spade a spade.
Just look at some of the idiocy that has come out of their mouths. "We need a thanks button." "We need varying color schemes". "We need more moderators." "We need to close registration". And on an on. EVERY ONE of those silly ideas is either petty nonsense that pre-pubescent girls would give a damn about, or issues that constantly PLAGUED Zoklet and sent it into its eventual deathspiral.
Sorry, but so far I really like the vibe and management of this place. And the last thing I want to see is an overly managed board by power hungry morons that are suddenly given a control panel, along with pointless bells and whistles that has NOTHING to do with "productive posting" or edgy and adult discourse. Zoklet proved without any doubt their way was NOT the way to do it, and its absurd any time someone tries to sing the praises of a website that literally LOST thousands of members instead of growing over the years.
So as long as silly idiots keep giving pointless ideas about what "works", I'll be right here to remind everyone the failure that Zoklet ended up being since the complete opposite is the REAL TRUTH. ;)

DaGuru, posts like these are the reason I still appreciate you posting on these forums. You make valid claims with backup. You don't seem like you just want to start shit or know everything like Spectral, but damn like the OP said, this isn't Zoklet. Can we at least TRY to avoid rehashing old shit? Bitch and Moan when something with truly major effects are happening or about to happen, but otherwise just let it be. The current mods here seem to know what's up, and how to take advice from the community. I hope they keep it up.

Also, daguru doesn't back up his claims with facts he just says he has the facts but time and again fails to provide proof and unless he knows the inner workings of the Zoklet administration as intimately as i know it i'll take my word over his any day.

Yup, good point DaBuru, it was OBVIOUSLY the color schemes that did it. Choosing colorschemes obviously fragmented the community into the "new school", "nostalgia" and "sunshine" factions pitting one set of color preferences against another. When will they learn that colorschemes destroy communities.

The point about the color schemes, is Zok focused more on bullshit nonsense like those pointless bells and whistles....than he did actually managing the community and figuring out a purpose for Zoklet. Then we all migrate here, and I see a plethora of people whining about they want this color, they want that color....which is also petty nonsense. In less than a week, instead of being grateful for having a new community to post in, they are already picking apart minute details without even settling in yet.
It would be like if you took a homeless man that had been living under a bridge for years, and put him up in a penthouse apartment with all the trimmings....it would be quite absurd if he started suggesting about changing the wallpaper before he even took a shower.
But hey, nice of you to pick apart ONE SENTENCE out of my whole post as a futile attempt to mock every other point I made. Sure worked, didn't it? 8)

Pre-Totse closure, the Zoklet demographic was about 8. Unless you include Zok and Spectral, which perhaps pushes the number up to a big fat 10. Apart from Spectral I don't know of anyone here who even had a Zoklet account before Totse closed.
Ultimately Arnox owes Zoklet jack shit, he just caught the ball that Zok dropped.

The site doesn't matter guys, totse, zoklet, sanctuary, it's all the same shit because the community is made up of the same people. The same shit disturbers will always put the same kind of pressure on the administration. I'm sure Arnox is up to the task but at the end of the day, nothing's really changed.

Seems fine to me too. Seems stupid to be bothered about things like color schemes, thanks and internet drama in general. One thing I've noticed however is nobody has made a big song and dance about how great zoklet was or how they grew up with it, unlike with totse. Pretty much says it all. You can be anything you want to be on the internet so I don't get why so many chose to be retards on zoklet.
