Also, does anyone know how to get a copy of a Craigslist ad that has been deleted to use in court? I know the police can ask but this isnt a criminal case.
do you have a link to the old ad? then you could try http://www.cachedpages.com/^If you can't get the cached craigslist page, you can recreate it yourself using the firebug add-on for firefox and then take a screenshot, just make sure the date and time on your desktop matches up.
I'm going to court against my landlord and even before he started screwing with me I had a feeling he may be trouble.
Now we are going to court for XYZ reasons and I would like to do some personal digging to see what I can find on this con man but all the websites I have found I have to pay for

This may sound like a minor quibble, but are you taking him to court or is he taking you to court?

How do I do this? If you could explain I would REALLY appreciate it!!I'm going to court against my landlord and even before he started screwing with me I had a feeling he may be trouble.

I sent him a letter requesting some major repairs in the house (window/wall leak in the basement -- water pooling in my laundry room) and my ceiling falling down in the basement, etc and he responded to that with an eviction notice. I have perfect renters history, have always paid him on time and my house is spotless. I am fighting the eviction and building my case. I was just curious how many other people he's done this to.

If you are using it to "dig up dirt" that sounds more like blackmail to get him to drop the eviction. What were his grounds for eviction? How is the landlord being a "con man"?
This is for informational purposes only. There's most likely better ways, but this is easy enough for noobs. Fuck, I'm not even a script kiddie really.do you have a link to the old ad? then you could try http://www.cachedpages.com/^If you can't get the cached craigslist page, you can recreate it yourself using the firebug add-on for firefox and then take a screenshot, just make sure the date and time on your desktop matches up.
