So i read this article about an explosive mixture called a HPOM or Hydrogen Peroxide Organic fuel Mixture. Appearently you take highly concentrated H2O2 and add an organic fuel like ethanol or flour to create the mixture. Anyone have any ideas on the science and applicability of such a device?
I am particularly interested in the composition's VoD and brisance.

Can't find much info, other than the thread on DP. I've only played around with Peroxide/Al watergels. Storage life is shit, and they need at least a No.8 equivalent cap to fully detonate. Practical VoD is pretty low, so brisance is unimpressive, though some of the formulas I tested might make a reasonable bulk heaving explosive.
With a weaker organic reducer, you probably need something like 90% H2O2 to achieve detonation at all, though I'm speculating here.

Sweet thanks for the info.
