What does this mean?

Colors are fun and all, but some context might help ;)

Green - All clear.
Yellow - Advisory is in progress.
Orange - We're facing a rather serious problem.
Red - The problem just got real.
Grey - TTFN

It's really not necessary at all but I imagine it is handy to have something you can just glance at and know basically what is going on.

As to why it's orange right now, we're still on standby in case we get another DDoS.

I thought the status levels were just for the lolz but I now see a point in them since we have been attacked.

Yellow - Wut the fuk just hapened??
Orange - Holy shit! Grab your life jackets, dudes!
Red - Now we're really, really, really fucked
Black - *this is a status alert you will never get to read*
