Title: Probably the stupidest person I've met this month, maybe all year

Okay so I'm currently interning in a lab that does various tests on steel samples from pipe before it gets shipped out to the oilfield.  Now in each work order there is around 100-250 samples.  Each sample gets its own page plus theres an excel spreadsheet printout containing the most important data for all the samples in the order.  Before turning it in, the worker there and I go through everything to make sure the spreadsheet's data matches up with each sample's individual page. 

Well today I found a typo in the excel sheet and he was going back to fix it.  He began at the top of the list and then started pressing the down arrow key over and over looking for the right sample number.  After about 30 seconds I reached over and pressed ctrl + F, typed in the sample number and hit enter.  Excel instantly jumped to it as it should.  The look he game me made me lol for about 10 minutes.

Well, if you dont know, you dont know. His response should have been 'Oh my God! Thank you for the 20 years of my life you saved me to do other things rather than manually look for shit in a document' but yeah.. He was ignorant, not stupid- there is a difference.

This was my first up-to conclusion too, but then I thought, this kid is like 20 years old.  He grew up in the digital age with computers in school and managed to make it all the way through high school without knowing the shortcut for find?  I'm sure someone much have pointed it out along the way, and if they didn't, why didn't he at least try and find an easier way.  I use tons of windows shortcuts and nobody ever had to show me.
