Aside from the 4 pages of rule disputes and mormon bashing, modc is lookin' for suggestions for new nicks?

If that's the case, may I suggest 'Uncle Tom Foolery'

The last black person I called that had a good laugh about it, and he understood I was intentionally being prejudiced.

I used to be so good at being facetiously racist when I was younger. Now I'm a little more overt about it.

Bitch & Moan / Re: Gay bashing
« on: October 08, 2014, 02:48:19 pm »

But seriously.  Proponents of "traditional marriage" are often told they're "on the wrong side of history" these days, and I think that's fair.  At least in first world western culture.

It'd be interesting to know which of these posters meant what they said.  And more interesting to know why :)

The sanctity of marriage was long ago raped by the divorce rate in America well before the zionist backed LGBT agenda got their mitts on it.
That being said, I generally have no problems with pyscho-sexually defunct people as long as they keep it all behind closed doors. One should still have reasonable expectations to do what they do in the privacy of their own home. I went to highschool with this guy that came out of the closet to me; saying he believed he was a girl trapped in a guys body. First words out of my mouth were "Don't hit on me, and we're cool." I told him it didn't really change the way I perceived him because I knew he was a pretty chill person.

Truth be told I could always tell there was something off bout him, but I could never put my finger on it, like he could either be gay or the next columbine orchestrator, so him coming out as a nancy was a tad comforting knowing why he was so odd, as opposed to wondering what he's hiding underneath that trench coat.

I think I stopped frequenting TDD before he tried getting rid of all the kidiots, so I wasn't there to witness the death-knell of TDD. I left soon after pill popper was modded. That just seemed so un-meta like. I think he was probably the most active contributor, if you can call any of his drivel contribution.

Atleast he was honest... Was just talking to this guy across the street the other night about the pan handlers in this city. Guy was begging for money for "gas." The guy gave him $10 and an hour later guy was still standing there.

This was going to be my suggestion. Most places only charge around $7 for a bowl you have a hard time finishing. Which is a pretty good deal considering I've dropped $70 at some places and still walked away hungry.

News of the World / Former UPS worker and Murder/Suicide

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/fired-worker-kills-two-bosses-self-ups-facility-birmingham-n209681
Quote
A day after he was fired, a UPS employee showed up to work in Birmingham, Alabama, gunned down two bosses and then killed himself, police said Tuesday. "It appears the shooter knew exactly who he wanted to target at the time," Lt. Sean Edwards said.

I used to work security at one of the larger PNW UPS hubs. I walked away from that job with the feeling that UPS did not care about the overall safety of their workers on their jobsite so much as that they weren't stealing. I'm assuming it was UPS with this attitude not the security outfit that was contracted. The Post Orders included procedures and instructions on searching both incoming and outgoing workers through the main gate. Sure there was metal detectors for both incoming/outgoing, but only the outgoing detector was operational. I'm guessing the Alabama hub was set up in a similar fashion. We had to search every bag going out (and verify UPS property), but not coming in. We had to wand down every person who set off the outgoing metal detector, regardless of if it was break time and they were just stepping out for a cigarette 10 ft from the gate or if it was end of shift.

It's just a story which satiates the anally retentive progressives.
Only conservotards give a flying fuck about military tradition bullshit.

...Or dare I say... Prior/current service members? Or even the family members of current/former military. The salute was not only a way to follow military protocol and show respect, it was also a way of showing that the subordinate did not have a weapon in his hand. Think about it, that's why one typically salutes right handed as opposed to left. Instead of a sloppy salute, he could have muttered "at ease soldiers" and have been 10x more respectful.

News of the World / Re: Obama's son violently rapes his highschool teacher
« on: September 24, 2014, 05:53:39 am »
It's a trayvon reference. When his parents were trying to paint their drug dealing thug of a son as some sort of a saint, despite facebook pictures of him throwing up gang signs, smoking weed, and posing with guns, Osama, I mean Obama made a comment along the lines of "that could've been my son."

Oh the Humanities! / Re: why isn't rape legal?
« on: September 21, 2014, 03:49:38 am »
Because what's right and wrong is subjective based upon the popular moral beliefs of the times, and what's legal and illegal doesn't always coincide with the subjective moral flavor of the month, nevermind if it falls in the realm of logical. Remember we live in an era where the constitution is null and void when the label of terrorist is applied (who cares that the FEMA handbook redefines the definition of terrorism to include "an unlawful act" to the beginning of the merriam webster variant), propaganda is now legal, and school districts have 14 ton 3/4 million dollar vehicles rolling around American streets under the premises of 'delivering medical supplies.'

Well we all know how reverse racist he is... but when I stumbled upon a post of his that so perfectly summed up how hypocritically racist he was via anti-racism/reverse racism, I couldn't help but make it my first and only zoklet sig.

"Non whites can't be racist in white dominated societies, racism implies you have power to act on it. So, I can be prejudiced and hate white people, which I don't, but I can never be racist." - TheRidiculousKong

I hope he doesn't but if he does, I'll have to copy/paste the quote of his from my Zoklet signature.

I'll try to lurk here less then I did on Zoklet. I know I had a much higher post count on &T then I did on &Z(easily 4-5x). I made an earnest attempt at TDD when it first popped up, but a particular subpar poster got modded, and that pretty much chased me away. I believe I registered my handle at a couple of the other totse spin offs just as a placeholder/reservation, but never actively tried to contribute, nevermind even lurk.

I'm guessing since it was mentioned that the grenade launchers are going to be 'modified' to fire tear gas and 'rubber bullets' (lolwut?) that they are talking about the M203 or maybe the newer M320 launchers designed to be mounted under the barrel of an M-16 and not the mk19's designed to be mounted on MRAPs and other vehicles.

People need to be asking themselves why Law Enforcement agencies need to be protected from IEDs. There is no real justifiable reason for a three quarter million dollar vehicle to be rolling around American streets (and supposedly to deliver medical services no less!). Are the current SWAT vehicles no longer effective vs small arms/rifle fire? Does this mean that they are planning for the day when American citizens are forced to resort to IEDs and other guerrilla tactics? That's the question any reasonably sane and intelligent person should be asking when they hear of such news.

Anime / Re: List of anime you've seen

Currently I've been streaming Argevollen and Aldnoah Zero. I've been infatuated with the mecha genre of anime ever since I discovered Gundam Wing off Toonami.

Bad Ideas / Re: aggressive panhandling/salesman.
« on: September 18, 2014, 04:46:03 pm »
As of late I've been one of those "human directionals" or sign spinners. The times when I'm posted off a highway there's pretty much a 90% chance that there's going to be one of those dejected looking panhandlers. At first I was rather discouraged watching some of those fuckers make more in an hour or two then I'd earn in wages for that day. One time when I had to do tricks for a Mattress Depot by Costco there was a mexican with his whole clan out there. His wife, and 4 kids, while he holds up a sign saying something to the effect of "just lost my job, anything helps etc."

I believe it took about 2 hours before someone called the cops. It was summer and something close to 90 degrees. None of his runts had water, were all loitering on top of the retaining wall made out of boulders, and no shade. I am consoled by the fact that we may both be holding up signs, but I still retain a degree of pride, and the show I put on draws attention away from them anyways.

I have yet to receive any cash tips, but I've been smoked out, given a beer or two, and one particular scorching sunday was woken up from my second hour and a half long nap (yea I got paid for shamming out of half my shift!) behind the nearby strip mall by a church goer who gave me some hotdogs and water. I miss that client/contract spot because it happened to be nearby my favorite local bev n smoke. I guess even slacking I did a pretty damned good job, helped sell all but 1 house in that particular housing area. Not to mention it's pretty gratifying to be recognized several cities away(the guy recognized me from Federal Way when I was bussing it home from Seattle at the Tukwila light link rail station)  as "that bearded badass white dude tearing it up with a sign."

Before anyone knocks what I do, take into consideration how chill I have it; I call to clock in, call to clock out (which I havn't done in months!) and I don't have a boss constantly breathing down my neck, sure on occasion a supervisor is supposed to drive by to make sure I'm there when I'm supposed to be. If I have the funds for it, I drink beer and smoke weed on my breaks. 85% of the time my boss gave me compliments on my tricks/routine, I was quite inebriated off one substance or another.
