Anyone here see or hear about this documentary? It is a 2 and a half hour examination of the evidence and makes some interesting points. I would just jump forward to whatever you find most interesting if you don't want to watch it in full. In the end I think it makes good points without muddying it down in speculation.

This is one of the early comics. The mistake it makes is an incorrect assertion that the labels of male and female in regards to sex organs are arbitrary. Consider Darwin observing a species in the wild. It happens to be the mating season. Do you think Darwin would classify the males as males and the females as females because they have the corresponding genitals or because that animal psychologically identifies more are as a female? The fact that someone identifies as a female when they are in reality a male does not change the physical sexual characteristics of the individual in question. One who rejects so strongly the life they have been born in to down to even disbelieving their own physical body in regard to their gender or sex is a misguided being. The problem they face is one of internal struggle that they must project into their reality thereby disregarding reality and making arguments and holding beliefs which are ill-based.



Here we again observe the incorrect distinction between gender and physiological makeup. The boy asserts that simply by growing his hair longer he has magically become a female. Growing your hair longer cannot be a "sex change" and neither can any operation. The fact remains that regardless of weather or not you have a penis or a vagina you still have a male or female brain. An individual may pump all the hormones into themselves and have all the operations they want  but in reality they will always have body type x filled with hormones found in body type y and mutilated genitals. Your psychology does not change your biological gender and cutting your hair will do as much good as does inverting your penis and injecting fat into your pectorals to that end.



Again there is a push to regard a biological female as male. Then when a supposedly gay man who is the partner of the misguided female talks about how his mother is such a bigot because she made the assertion that a male and female having a child is heterosexual. And after all this a small child declares that heterosexuality and reproduction are too confusing for his belief system to handle. Her mother (father?) then pushes as far to say that heterosexuality leads to homophobia and implies that any conflicting belief held by others is inherently wrong. She then brushes it off and asks the young boy if he would like to get intoxicated.

This coming before the G20 summit gives Putin an upper hand in the Ukraine situation.

Every year time magazine does a poll to see which current buzzword should be banned for 2015. I think selfie was last years word. The fantastic thing about this year is that one of the words on the poll list is Feminism. It is already got at 46% of the votes so lets keep feminism down and get as many users on this site as we can to vote for that word.

Welcome to Novembers parlor thread. Here the gentle souls residing at Sanctuary are given a harsh-my-mellow free zone. We have flower arranging in the morning. Tea and cucumber sandwiches in the afternoon. Smoking jackets and fine cognac in the evening. A universal haven for the easily offended, passive-aggressive, 'nice' people who feel the world of uninhibited free speech is simply too brutal and uncivilized. Intemperate language, strong opinions, blunt statements (even if irrefutably rational), criticism, sardonic wit and contempt for simple-mindedness are all heavily frowned upon and may result in tear-stained upholstery.


Here we call cigarettes "fags" and sex "shagging". Unreasonable crudeness or vulgarity will not be tolerated and any offenders to these rules will be considered "Uneducated Wankers". Luckily if you find yourself in this group you may educate yourself and graduate to the "Educated Wankers" consideration. Unfortunately Once a wanker always a wanker.
